Characters: Juudai Yuuki, Earthbound God Uru
Synopsis: After being killed by a bullet from Divine, Juudai, filled with darkness and regret, receives an offer from Earthbound God, Uru.
Plot Events: Takes place during our Dark Signer Arc. Juudai becomes a Dark Signer.
BANG
It went dark.
It went cold.
Juudai wasn't sure where he was at first, but he could hear crying. Faint crying.
It was Asuka, but where was she?
Juudai looked around, but he couldn't see anything.
Was this what death was like? He was... dead...?
He started to panic, he didn't want to be here. He wanted to go back, back to his friends, back to his girlfriend, back to Kouyou and Midori, back to his parents...
...oh god his parents... he hadn't seen them in years... he probably could of got in touch with them, talked to them, but he didn't, because he had felt too distant from them...
...there were so many regrets filling his mind, so many things he had wanted to do, or wish he had done, so many things he was looking forward to.
Eventually everything went silent around him, he couldn't hear Asuka or anything anymore... other than his own thoughts filled with darkness and regret.
He just wanted to live.
"Yuuki Juudai."
Juudai looked up slowly as he heard a low deep voice addressing him.
"Supreme King."
Looking around, Juudai spotted what appeared to be a large spider behind him. He recognized it from his dream.
"You wish to live?"
"You're... but... I was told..."
"Poor tortured child. Always trying so hard to be everyone's hero... and this is how you are repaid for the many times you have saved this world? With death? Your efforts are continually thrown away time after time and have become useless, boy. No one cares about what you have done... not those dragons... not the one who killed you... no one.
You have become weary of that world, you know your efforts are in vain. Your thoughts have grown bitter and cold.
But together, you and I can seek revenge on all those that have wronged you..... those dragons.... the one that killed you...
...you can make and rule over a better world."
"A... better world...?"
The spider was right... he had grown so tired of having to save the world time after time, only to have something else replace it almost straight after. He had risked his very life every time and he was paid back by death. He had seen the worst of this world... even though he hadn't shown it... his thoughts had turned bitter towards it. He had started to hate it. It was full of nothing but spiteful people, his death was the last proof of that. All he wanted was to live and be with those he cared about...
But he was being offered a chance to return and change that... to change it... for the better...
Slowly, Juudai began to walk towards the spider. The closer he got, the more distant his eyes became as the spider's influence began to creep into him. This better world... the idea of revenge... it had to happen.
Once Juudai had gotten to the spider, he looked up at it. His eyes, although glazed over, were now a distinct shade of yellow.
"Then it is settled.
With my help, the Supreme King will rise again."
